This is the continuation from my previous post regarding Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan Island. It is acclaimed also to be the cleanest and greenest city in the Philippines. We've been there last march 10 to 12 this year (with my colleagues) Sorry to post this very late- hehe... Well, the place was indeed amazing. To wit; the subterranean that is known to be the longest underground river in the world with its wide hallways, cathedral-like chambers and great pillars of centuries old limestone formations, the beautiful white beaches, and the Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center - formerly known as the Crocodile Farming Institute.
>>>Right after eating our lunch, we travelled for almost two (2) hours going to Brgy. Sabang, the baseline for underground river. They have their beaches there too, like Daluyon Beach Resort and Taraw Beach and Cottages where we stayed. The staffs were so friendly and accommodating, affordable foods and room rates they have. I was amazed also for the "carabao in the beach" as their means of transportation from one beach to another.

Day 2 - Underground River Trek. Boat ride for about 30 minutes going to the cave.

>>>The entrance

>>>Inside the cave - different rock formations.

>>>On our way to Island hopping.

>>>Luli Island<<< & >>>Star Fish Island<<<

>>>Snake Island<<< & >>>Pandan Island<<<
Day 3 - Went to the Crocodile Farm. There was a twenty minute walking tour of the facility which included a small crocodile museum. The museum needed a little work done on its displays, but it did have the skeletal remains of the largest crocodile caught in the Philippines.

>>>We enjoyed it so much. The trek was really worth taking. Mwaaaah :-)
