Who is your best friend?

She who has found a best friend in life has found the rarest treasure in this world. "Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say."

In life, we get to know so many people. Friends are ones that support you in your work and help you when you make a mistake. But best friends will never let you to commit that mistake. They are like the superego in all of us. A true friend will never let you go wrong.

Trust is the most important link amongst best friends. Helen Keller had once said that she preferred walking in the dark with a friend rather than walking alone in light. Best friends show us the correct path when we are lost, laugh with us when we are happy and cry even when we try to hide our tears.

No one is an island. Everyone needs help and support. This is the reason why God has sent us friends. Best friends are so precious that a single article cannot do justice to the topic.

I am so thankful that God has given me a person who accepts and loves me unconditionally - my confidant, my better half, my best friend - Buen.

Life is what we make it...

Sometimes it’s crazy to be sane. You need to fall to fly. People suffer because you care. You have to unlearn to know the lesson. You have to give up because you are strong. You have to be wrong to make things right. Nonetheless, life’s complexities are also life’s source of beauty. We should cry to laugh again, fall apart to be whole again, and get hurt to love again. Well, that’s life, so we better enjoy it ’til it last…

...mountain view-03.01.09

I started my summer fun together with my officemates by strolling around the mountain view located in Busay, Cebu City. We brought food with us for our snacks and some chichiriyas. The garden has its 400 steps way upstairs, playground for children, videokehan for adults and the hanging bridge. We enjoyed it like little ones.....

the holy week

Honestly, I spent my holy week without having so much penitence. I didn't even felt the spirit of the holy week. It was because I was still in a work mode just to cope/meet the deadline a week after the holy week. Sorry God.

On maundy thursday, April 9 - I had my very short hour of sacrifice. Had attended the station of the cruz at the good sheepherd located in one of the mountains in Banawa, Cebu City.

I love my job...

Hello world & philippines!!! (lol)

Just came back after my very much occupied days due to the tax season which ended yesterday April 15, 2009. My work is not just that an ordinary job to start with. It requires lot of energy, patience and even more passion wherein I can make myself satisfy of what I've done. I said satisfy because admittedly, not in every thing I did in my work made me/brought me self-complacent professionally. Some are just for compliance and/or just to make things right on the go...

Tax season has just ended. Thank God we're done. Done in preparing the company's and the affiliates' financial statements, being filed, paid and submitted to the government offices who requires it to - like the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Securities & Exchange Commission. The exhausting days were yet so satisfying. Slept like it's already in the wee hour and woke up after having 3 or 4 hours of sleep were all really worth doing. There's always an enduring learning with this job. I love it and still wanted to learn even more...
